Back in 2017, our founder Dr. Leo had a challenging time teaching programming in a coding class to 100 students. With inaccessible teaching tools, individual technical problems and incompatible pace of learning, Dr. Leo struggled and sweated his way through the lesson. Inevitably, only a handful of students managed to follow, given the limited class time. The experience inspired and propelled Dr. Leo to establish Una Technologies Limited (formerly known as MagiCube Limited). With the help of his team, Dr. Leo developed a cloud-based real-time interactive education platform, Una, which means ‘together’ in Latin. As the name suggests, Dr. Leo wishes to bring teachers and students together into a fun and interactive process of learning.
In just a little more than 2 years, Una has become a Microsoft Global Training Partner. The proven popularity of Una is attributed to various user-friendly features, such as the easy setup of virtual classrooms, the integration of several AI technologies and more. Currently, Una provides courses to K-12 students and adults on topics related to Artificial Intelligence (AI). Students will be able to obtain the Microsoft AI certificates and create their own AI devices after completing the courses; whilst teachers may employ our award-winning platform and meticulously scaffolded teaching materials to design their own AI learning activities based on their students’ needs.
Our trainers, led by PhD engineers, conduct interactive lessons with our self-developed virtual classrooms and more than 100 hours of scaffolded, ready-made Una x Microsoft teaching materials to cater to learners’ diversity.
We developed the world’s first and only cloud-based education platform embedding Microsoft MakeCode for micro:bit, AI Education and more! Check out Una Platform, the only MakeCode related app, on Microsoft Azure Marketplace.
We are a Microsoft Authorized Global Training Partner, Certiport Authorized Testing Center, specialized in providing AI certificate training for K-12 students and adults.
